I often wake up on weekends and wish that I could time travel. For now the closest thing to time traveling is wearing vintage clothes and accessories or using old cameras and typewriters. Books and music can also make me feel as though I've stepped back in time. I am a vintage soul and always will be. There is something so romantic about decades like the 1920's, 40's, 50's and 60's. I love the styles, the music and the way people lived simpler lives. Today I would have traveled back to 1954 or 1955. Maybe I would go to Memphis to listen to Johnny Cash record some of his first songs at Sun Record Company or something. Or maybe I'd hear him play somewhere before he was well known. How cool would that be? I know it might sound a little crazy. But it's fun to dream.
